Kick Push East Coast 2015.

Shout out to Gizzi City for getting down to the Alfred Cox Skatepark to support East Coast Skateboarding.

It was really awesome to hang out at the park catch up with the whole crew & bring the Kick Push East Coast Skate Comp back to life.
Thank you to all of the riders who entered this years event, loads of epic skateboarding was thrown down on the day & all of the competitors where shredding the park and amping the crowd.
Thanks to our Dj Bub-Z for bringing the noise & supplying the beats.

Also a massive shout out to this years winners, In 1st place was Kimo Ngata (Gisborne) our new “King of the Coast” closely followed by Reuben Baker (Gisborne) in 2nd place & Ricky Keating (Hawkes Bay) in 3rd. These boys took out the main event & the $1750 in cash prizes provided by Kingsbeer Architecture along with a Nude Skateboard trophy to rest on the mantle piece.

Much love to our best trick event sponsors A.B.C, Crate & A.L.C Clothing Companies.
Each company sponsored a bag of loot which was awarded to the winner of the best trick put down on each sponsored obstacle.
Cleaning up all three of the best trick events with surgical precision was Jake Atkins representing the Hawkes Bay.

A.L.C Step Up Best Trick – Switch Frontside Big Spin.
Crate Centerpiece Fun Box Best Trick – Frontside Tailslide - Front 270 Shuvit Out.
A.B.C Wedge to Bar Best Trick – Frontside Smith Grind Front 270 Shuvit Out.

Thank you to all of the riders, spectators & sponsors for supporting this years event & bringing the good vibes we look forward to doing it all again in 2016.

Finally a special thank you to Shane Kingsbeer for all of your work leading up to the event & on the day. Not only did Shane provide the cash prizes but he also organized many of the elements which made this years event a success from the repair & clean up of the skatepark with support from Currie Construction & the Gisborne District Council to the free pizza for lunch and generally hooking the day up & making this years Skate Comp run smoothly - TOP MAN.
